The plain-English version. We explain what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated: January 2026.
Aquacanvas does not collect personal data unless you actively send it to us — for example by emailing us through the contact form. We do not sell, share, or rent any data we hold. There are no third-party advertising trackers on this site.
If you fill out the contact form, you provide us with your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to reply to your inquiry.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs containing IP addresses, browser types, requested pages, and timestamps. These are used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic understanding. They are not used to build a profile of you and they are not shared.
This site does not set tracking cookies of its own. No advertising cookies. No social-network pixels. The only browser storage we use is for your unit-preference in the calculator (cm vs inches), and it lives entirely on your own device.
To keep the site loading quickly, we use:
If you've contacted us through the form and you'd like a copy of what we hold about you, or you'd like it deleted, email us. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR including: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk).
Contact-form messages are kept for as long as the conversation is useful, then deleted. Server logs roll over after 30 days unless retained for a specific security investigation.
Aquacanvas is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If a parent or guardian believes we have inadvertently received such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
If we change anything material — for instance, adding a newsletter or a comments system — we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date at the top. Substantive changes will also be flagged on the homepage for at least two weeks.
Questions about this policy? Use the contact form or email us directly. We genuinely don't mind being asked.
